The Red-Tape Suicide

This was my first book written in the last century. I’ve decided it can be improved with a complete rewrite while keeping the satire and intent intact. The effort also gives me the opportunity to write a book in the first person where all action takes place through the eyes of the writer.

The story takes place within the massive stone buildings lining the Mall in Washington, D.C.

We discover how the bureaucracy is exacerbated by the Bureau of Bureaucracy run by the insentient Dr. Willard A. Dillard. Dillard has a great thing going until he makes the mistake of hiring Robert “Robb” Moore. Moore quickly becomes Dillard’s nemesis and the fun begins.

(I have one or two of the original books left. If you’re interested in buying, then please contact me for details.)

I spent my first career in the secret inner-sanctums of the Federal government. Over thirty years of swimming upstream against the bureaucracy led to a series of published parables I called the Tales of the Tail with No Teeth. After retiring I served as a municipal planner and an elected official in a rural township in south-central Pennsylvania where I battled corruption every day. That experience led to a series of books revealing the underside of local government and society that John Wynters battles.
